Or even their ‘own’ tribe. If one wants to consider Rachel Maddie or Keith Oberman my tribe, the only times I’ve ever seen videos of them are hate clips that go viral.

A pretty balanced article. I agree with it.

I'm not sure what a Democrat platform would be, without social justice and identity politics. They would be left with "not Maga". Which, granted, if you wedded it to economic centrism, might be a political winner. But the religious Dems would be very upset.

Possibly. He hates everything green. …except money. Preferably other people’s money. So much so that in fact, he covets their money.

Lots of proposed bills like that lately. Abolishing income tax, allowing for a 3rd term, banning abortion, banning trans athletes, I can’t track them all but presume most are just messaging bills. There was another one I saw I couldn’t believe but forget it now.

So today it’s not about the border security or fentanyl it’s about something else, banks specifically. And agriculture products and oil and gas and we’re subsidizing Canada to the tune of $200 billion. If Canada doesn’t comply we’ll hit them harder…. …. Yes there probably will be tariffs on the UK, not right now but we’ll definitely go after the EU …. Everybody is so unfair to America. Blah, blah, blah Next time I go to the store to buy something or call a plumber I will be sure to tell them that I am subsidizing them. I am sure they’ll understand the unfair treatment and give me a break. What a load of nothing that mendacious blowhard bully spews.

@jon-nyc said in They haven't spoken over a few hours in years.: @taiwan_girl Yeah 4 pieces of broccoli was nanny state paternalism but wholesale reconfiguration of the food and beverage industry is America First. If you don’t get the difference it’s your deep state programming showing through. It wasn't four pieces of broccoli. It was a lot of food the government bought, served and then watched it tossed in the trash. Michelle Obama's Healthy Hunger-free Kids Act, an act that had accomplished exactly the opposite of what it claimed it would — leaving hungry, angry, disgusted kids and dumpsters full of wasted food. It cost us $4B, with 60% of schools reporting increases in wasted food, even as the number of children eating school lunches declined.

If nothing else Trump’s unjustified sanctions Canada has us at least giving thought to EU membership. I would not oppose it if it were a possibility or considered option: https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/canada-european-union-1.7446400

Im surprised the interstate telemedicine itself was legal. I’m in NY and they confirm you are in state when you start a visit. I may have even lied before when I was traveling and didn’t want to cancel my appointment.

I would take that with a grain of salt. They also said we were spending 50MM on condoms for Gaza.
